To support continued growth and strategic development in Bosnia and Herzegovina, our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional for the role of:

 

Managing Director (f/m)

Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all aspects of operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with full responsibility for meeting business objectives and sales targets
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and the continuous development of employees
  • Ensure full compliance with local laws, corporate policies, and industry standards
  • Drive strategic initiatives and explore new opportunities for market expansion
  • Strengthen brand positioning and lead local marketing and promotional activities

Candidate Profile:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent advanced education
  • Proven experience in managing people, processes, and business operations
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, guide, and develop teams
  • Familiarity with the Bosnian and Herzegovinian market is considered a strong advantage
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently
  • Strong analytical, planning, and presentation capabilities
